How to fix and or repair expansion joints between concrete slabs (right outside a garage door)

You will need to replace the black fiberboard building sheathing that is currently in place. The sheathing is cheap & can be found at most hardware stores for ~$3.50 for 4 feet of it.

Simply remove the old sheathing, blow out any materials in the joint, and replace with new sheathing. A better method is to replace it with the materials below:

-Sand - put sand in the joint before the backer rod - level it so that the backer rod is around 1/4 inch from the top of the slabs.

-Backer rod (comes in various diameters - you will have to choose the best for the job - the best way is to push the backer rod in so it sticks in the seam due to pressure)

-Self leveling sealant - This is a much more expensive way of sealing the joints - but it will last longer. Self leveling sealant made by Sika is what I use. Put a layer of the self leveling sealant on top of the backer rod to create a completely flat surface.

The end result is much more attractive than building sheathing, longer lasting, and does not allow plants to grow within it. Enjoy.

How to clean a White Apple Macbook laptop

The best way to clean your white Macbook laptop is with a 'Magic Eraser', also known as Melamine Foam. Simply get the eraser wet, squeeze out as much water as you can, and use that to clean the laptop (even the power cord!) - Simple as that, but more effective than any other cleaning method.
