How to get a better credit card interest rate

I know this sounds kinda stupid, but it always works. Now, I am assuming that you're making all the monthly payments & haven't defaulted in quite some time. There are a few methods for getting a lower rate: 1: Ask for a lower rate. Crazy, but it works sometimes 2: Ask them to lower your rate b/c you received an offer for a lower rate with 'such & such' company 3: Call & ask how you perform a balance transfer to a different company. They will be alerted (if you are a good customer) & ask why? Give them the 0% on balance transfer for a year thing, and they will most likely accommodate you. Enjoy!
