Shaving 101: How to get the best shave for the price

When it comes to us guys, shaving is taken seriously. But, depending on how you shave, it can be either: A) Expensive B) a bad shave or C) cheap.

Disposable Razors:
This method is a fairly good method to shave, but it gets expensive as you have to keep on buying the expensive refills. The shave is 'ok', lets rate it a 'B' for shave quality, 'B' for effort, and a 'F' for cost.

Electric Razors:
This method is by far the fastest, but not necessarily the best shave. Electric razors are expensive, first off, but they definitely make up for that cost over the months/years. The electric shave gets a 'C-' for shave quality, 'A' for effort, and a 'B' for cost.

Double-edged Razors:
This method is by-far my favorite shave method, as it (almost) gets the best ratings out of all of them. Let me explain why: These razors provide the best shave, and are by far the cheapest method of shaving out there. $7 of razor inserts on Amazon.com will provide YEARS of shaving. Not to mention, it is the best for your skin. Double-edged shaving gets a 'A+' for shave quality, a 'B-' for effort, and a 'A+' for cost.

Conclusion: If you want the best shave for the price, and are willing to put 5-7 minutes in for a shave, go with the manual option - You (and your wife/girlfriend) will thank me later.
